Upper Stone Meadow
Who is suggesting it should be 'considered' for Housing or Offices and Why?
Chiltern District Council are presenting Upper Stone Meadow as an option for development which means:
- Building on land that is acknowledged to be a severe flood plain not only by locals but by the Environment Agency.
- Downgrading not only Green Belt but an area of National interest and classed as An Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
- Building directly above proposed HS2 Tunnel where surface land has been legally reserved.
- Assumes the hatched area in the development proposal is 100% available for development when it is not.
